Laura & Mark's Bothal Castle Wedding from Jackie Parsons Photography

We are thrilled to have teamed up with Jackie Parsons Photography to share with you the beautiful wedding of Laura and Mark at Bothal Castle.

Starting at Laura's Mum's house (the lovely Alison) where we received a genuine warm welcome Straight away we threw ourselves into photographing Laura and her four bridesmaids, who were all involved in make up, hair and other things that come with the responsibility looking gorgeous on the big day. Laura's hair was by Julie from Clip Joint and Katie from Locks of Hair was on hand to style the bridesmaids hair. Along with Emily the make up artist, they did a splendid job.

Flowers arrived from J Robinson and the house was generally filled with colour and an air of expectation. This atmosphere was improved further with the arrival of a heartfelt note to Laura from her husband to be. So sweet!

The girls continued with their final preparations and eventually stepped into their dresses by Mori Lee, from North East supplier Kathryn Truman Laura looked simply stunning and finally popped on her sparkly Benjamin Adams shoes before leaving the house with everyone and heading to Bothal Parish Church.

After a lovely ceremony everyone gathered outside for confetti so we could take some shots and then guests strolled up to the Castle where they were welcomed with canopes and drinks. This gave us time to keep the Bride and Groom and bridal party on the grounds of the church to get some pictures in this amazing location before wandering back to the reception ourselves.

 Just behind the Castle, an impressive marquee had been erected and by The Unique Tent Company where the celebrations continued.
