Appleby Events presents the first Four Counties Wedding Awards

The first wedding awards for the four counties is finally here. An opportunity for hard work to be recognised within Herts, Beds, Bucks and Cambs; local wedding suppliers now have their chance to see their passion and excellence rewarded. 

Boasting 28 categories, including Newcomer to the Industry and Judges Choice awards, all aspects of the wedding world are covered by the event. With an impressive panel of 8 National Award winning judges, who together have a Social Media following of over 200,000 people, the Four Counties Wedding Awards offer a great opportunity of exposure for any new or established wedding supplier. The judges in question are Kelly Hood of Boho Weddings, Charlotte White of Restoration Cake, Natasha Steiner of Lemon Zest Catering, Photographer Ian Bursill, Writer Kate Beavis, Sarah Dunn of Sarahʼs Doo Wop Dos Hair & Makeup, Stylist Liz Musson of Mad Philomena and Florist team Gemma & Karen of Passion For Flowers. The event is proudly sponsored by County Weddings Magazines, Wedding Exhibitions UK and Concept Event Solutions. 

Entries are open from July 2015 to September 2015, with public voting closing in October 2015. After judging is completed in November 2015, the grand Gala Awards Event will take place in February 2016 at Juryʼs Inn, Milton Keynes. 

The Awards are the brain child of Founder Tracy Butterfield, Director of Appleby Events and Wedding & Events Coordinator at the Mansion House, Old Warden. A champion of the hard working members of the industry, she reveals her motivation for the event; “After years of working in the industry alongside some amazing individuals, I decided it was time that people were recognised and rewarded where they matter most; in their own county.” Tracy also states her pride in the people and organisations involved; “Itʼs a complete honour to have such truly outstanding sponsors and judges on board, Iʼm still pinching myself!” 

The Four Counties Wedding Awards will also be raising awareness and funds for the charity The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation, who organise weddings for terminally ill couples. Funds for this deserving cause will be raised on the night of the Gala Awards Ceremony, which Tracy describes as “An event not to be missed,” urging any and all local Wedding Suppliers to “Be part of it!”
